Who is eligible?
Any Santa Barbara County Education Office certificated non-management teacher or employee may apply for the SBCEO Teacher Innovation Grants. This grant is open to applicants from grades Pre-K to 12 in any subject or specialization. Teachers are not eligible to receive funds for the same project in subsequent years. However, other eligible educators may apply to modify projects successfully piloted with these funds.
How are grants selected?
Grant applications are read and selected by a committee of teachers, administrators, and business and community partners. Five $500 grants are awarded each year.
